If you're reading this, you were probably hoping to check out some new Minecraft content, maybe hang out with another community of Minecraft fans. Not to mention, probably a little confused about the giant letters written above this message.

Ever since I started this studio in late 2020, I was hoping to not only be able to create Minecraft content, like our iconic creeper chicken, but also to build a new Minecraft fanbase. Something new. Something different.

 

You see, most sites are mainly focused on different aspects of the Minecraft universe. Some serve as marketplaces for maps, skins, mods, texture packs, you name it. Some hope to have fun and host contests and events to celebrate the wonder that is Minecraft.

 

My vision was to take all of that and combine it into one big fan site. A community completely free of ads and paywalls to give Minecraft fans everywhere a chance to enjoy the premium experience of being a Minecraft lover without having to worry about advertisements covering half the site or sit waiting for an hour just to download a Minecraft map. A community dedicated to your personal privacy and safety, where your personal data is completely safe. A community that holds strong standards and holds no tolerance for cyberbullying, harassment, discrimination, or everything else that plagues our world today. A community of positivity, belonging, and most importantly, fun.

As big as my vision was, it turned out not to be so successful, with miniscule participation rates and little to no growth in two years. Not only that, but I've spent way too much time, money, and energy on this studio, and quite frankly, it's been kind of a waste of my life.

And that's why I have made the difficult decision to shut down JMCS Studios, this time for good. It's been a fun experience to be able to work on this, but I need more time to spend on more important things.

​

Before I go, I'd like to thank those who made this studio possible. Discord and Wix.com made the amazing platforms that allowed us to host our community. I'd also like to thank Lizter for designing our awesome logo. Lastly, I'd like to thank October01 for helping run the show.
